The Office of the Provost provided Nancy Tannery Grant for Open Educational Resources (OER) funding to 11 projects during the spring 2026 term.
OER funding supports faculty to adapt, adopt and/or create OER for use in an existing course. These projects will enhance the educational experiences of Pitt students, save students money on course materials as well as provide these faculty with the ability to customize their courses.
The grants are named for former Assistant Provost Nancy Tannery, who was the inaugural chair of the Provost’s Standing Committee on OER. Tannery died in 2021.
