Employees who are navigating parenthood invited to recharge at retreat

The Pitt Parenting Community will host “The Village: A Retreat for Working Parents,” from 9 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. June 3 in the William Pitt Union, Lower Lounge.

This retreat is designed for Pitt employees who are navigating parenthood in all its forms; whether you're raising toddlers or teenagers, caring for aging parents while raising kids or simply trying to establish your work-life balance.

What to expect:

  • Slow-flow yoga session

  • Speaker on “Compassion Fatigue: The Challenges and Rewards of Caring for Others”

  • Guided conversation circles based on your needs

  • Creative activity

  • Time for networking and getting to know each other

The day will wrap up with Happy Hour at The Porch.
