Faculty, staff and student volunteers will be picking up trash on Bates Street from Second Avenue to the Boulevard of the Allies (and further if time allows) from 10 a.m. to noon Oct. 8.  

Volunteers will meet at the Bates Street park (near the traffic light where Bates meets the Boulevard of the Allies). All materials (gloves, bags, grabbers, etc.) will be provided. Please wear close-toes shoes and dress in clothes that you don't mind getting dirty. 

Safety vest also will be provided, but bright colored clothes are encouraged, since the cleanup will be alongside a high-vehicle traffic area.
