The sixth annual One Minute Film Festival, a visual storytelling platform for everyone in the Pitt community, is open to all forms of expression through the moving image: narrative shorts, stop motion, experimental films, and anything else you come up with.  

The only constraint is a 60-second time limit, not including credits. You may submit up to three entries, but each entry must be sent separately. Submissions will be accepted starting Sept. 19. Deadline for submissions is 11:59 p.m. Oct. 27. 

Enjoy previous One Minute Film Festival submissions and connect with potential collaborators at the One Minute Film Festival Launch Screening from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Sept. 16 at the Center for Creativity’s Understory, Cathedral of Learning B50. 

Learn about resources to support your own project. No previous filmmaking experience is required: all you need to make a one-minute film is an idea and a smartphone (or digital camera).
