The Office of the Chancellor recently announced the recipients of the Chancellor’s Distinguished Service Awards for Staff.

The awards include a $2,500 prize. The honorees will be recognized at a reception on Feb. 17.

Community Engagement: Erin Schuetz, academic and student affairs administrator, Department of Infectious Diseases and Microbiology, School of Public Health

Early Career Achievement: Jorden King, assistant director of student and career services, Office of Student and Career Services, School of Education

Engagement and Wellbeing: Zach Davis, Office of Institutional Engagement and Wellbeing

Excellent Mentor: Emily Bell, Senior Director of human resources, Office of the Executive Senior Vice Chancellor of  Finance & Operations; and Shallegra Moye, director of educational enrichment & transition programs, Office of the Dean, School of Education

Innovation in Administration: Heather Lego, senior business analyst, Pitt Digital

Outstanding Career Achievement: Ruth Mullen, cleaner, Facilities Management

Research Support: Heide Eash, associate director for federal contracts, Office of Sponsored Programs, Senior Vice Chancellor for Research

Student Impact: Carrie Benson, director of Prevention at Pitt, Office of Institutional Engagement and Wellbeing

University Engagement: Suzanne Lynch, business administration manager, University Center for Teaching and Learning
