As it has for the past several years, Pitt will mark Martin Luther King Jr. Day by encouraging volunteerism.

During the MLK Day of Service on Jan. 20, 2025 Pitt community members can sign up to volunteer with a variety of the University’s community partners. Volunteer registration closes on Jan. 13 and limited spots are available. Sign up to volunteer online.

Volunteers can expect a light breakfast before service, a t-shirt, and transportation to and from the host site. The day will start with check-in at 8:45 a.m. Buses will transport volunteers to the various work sites by 10 a.m. and will return to campus by 1:30 p.m.
