Pitt’s Writing Program and Heinz Memorial Chapel will present a preview of “3 Sisters,” the University’s new literary journal celebrating innovative work in text, image and objects.

A selection of poetry from the inaugural issue will be projected on a screen in the chancel at the front of the chapel, offering a first look ahead of “3 Sisters” official release on April 27.

The exhibit will be available to view from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays until April 30.

Inspired by its namesake bridges, “3 Sisters” explores themes of threes in many forms: waterways and river systems, triptychs and triads, tercets, sisterhood, mythology, and more. The featured works embrace experimentation, playfulness, and boundary-pushing approaches to storytelling, while uplifting voices historically underrepresented in the literary arts.

The exhibit is free and open to all.
