Two draft policies are now open for comment by all University community members with Pitt student, faculty or staff log-in credentials on the Office of Policy Development and Management’s website.

One Card Policy: This policy outlines the authority of the Payment Processing and Compliance Department to govern the processes supporting the use of OneCard. This authority includes establishing a process for obtaining a OneCard, establishing an employee’s purchasing limits (in consultation with the Cardholder’s supervisor/manager), providing the required training regarding the use of the OneCard, evaluating expenses and card limits in accordance with this policy and other University polices, and closing OneCards. Comment period closes May 6.

Purchasing Authority and Responsibilities Policy: This policy supports and defines the University’s activities when purchasing goods or services in order to: 1) promote responsible stewardship of funds; 2) direct compliance with funding and regulatory requirements; and 3) support strategic sourcing initiatives. Comment period open until May 7.
