Letters of intent for Pitt Seed funding due by Feb. 7

The second of three information sessions on the next round of Pitt Seed funding from the chancellor will be at 4 p.m. Dec. 19 at 826 Cathedral of Learning. The last session will be at 9 a.m. Jan. 23 at 817 Cathedral of Learning.

This is the third year for the Pitt Seed initiative. Project proposals from faculty and staff members across all five Pitt campuses must support one or more of the six goals outlined in the The Plan for Pitt. Chosen applicants can receive up to $50,000 to advance their project.

While all proposed projects will be considered, preference will be given to those that address priorities of the chancellor and provost, including access and affordability, diversity and inclusion, personalizing education and improving teaching and learning.
