Staff Council each year gives out two awards, one to children of Pitt staff who are undergraduates at the University and one to staff mentors.

Endowed Book Fund Award: The deadline to apply for the Staff Council Endowed Book Fund Award is April 10. This annual scholarship supports qualified undergraduate students with $500 for books or supplies. The awards are given yearly at the Chancellor’s Staff Recognition Ceremony. Mentor Award: The Staff Council Mentor Award honors individuals whose mentorship extends beyond the workplace, recognizing their positive impact on others’ lives. Nominate someone who excels at guiding others in their career or navigating workplace challenges. Submit nominations here, by April 24.
