U.S. News and World Report issued its 2022 Best Grad Schools list this week, and Pitt has several programs that rank in the top 20, particularly in the School of Medicine.
The rankings included public and private schools. While the new list contains a majority of the graduate school programs at Pitt, there are some areas of study, such as Best Science Schools, which were ranked in 2018 and not included in this year’s rankings.
Some of the areas Pitt ranked the highest were:
Best Nursing Schools: Doctor of Nursing Practice: 6 out of 330, tied with Vanderbilt; and second among public schools
Psychiatry: 6 out of 20, tied with Columbia University; 2nd among public schools
International Global Policy and Administration: 7 out of 15, tied with Syracuse and first among public schools
