Proposals sought for second year of Pitt Seed Project grants

Faculty and staff are encouraged to submit proposals for the 2019 Pitt Seed Project.

This program, now in its second year, is funded by the Office of the Chancellor. In the first year, 23 project proposals were awarded funding, according to @Pitt.

Proposals must focus on one of the six goals in the Plan for Pitt. Selected proposals can receive up to $50,000 to help with execution.

To apply, a letter of intent must be submitted by noon, Feb. 8. Then an application period will last from Feb. 8 to noon, March 8.

Project administrators also will be hosting information sessions: 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Jan. 9 in Alumni Hall, Room 121; noon to 1 p.m. Jan. 10 in Posvar Hall, Room 2500; and 1 to 2 p.m. Jan. 15 in William Pitt Union, Room 630.
