New Women faculty welcomed at annual reception

This year’s lecture and reception welcoming new women faculty featured Melanie Hughes, professor of Sociology, giving a lecture on “The Persistence of Gender Inequalities in Politics:  A Global Perspective.”

The annual event, which took place Nov. 4, is sponsored by the Provost's Advisory Committee on Women's Concerns and the Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies Program.
