For the fifth year in a row, the University of Pittsburgh and the Council of Three Rivers American Indian Center (COTRAIC) will partner to bring the Indigenous Cultural Festival to the Pittsburgh campus from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 24 on the William Pitt Union patio and lawn.

The Indigenous Cultural Festival offers family-friendly educational activities that celebrate the historic and ongoing contributions of Native Americans in Pennsylvania and across the U.S.

COTRAIC’s mission is to promote the socio-economic development of the Native American community and others who experience similar types of economic difficulties in the Greater Pittsburgh metropolitan area. The center is open to Native and non-Native people, with programs available to serve all.
