Chancellor Joan Gabel, who arrived at Pitt last July, will continue the tradition of the Staff and Faculty Appreciation Picnic on May 15.

The picnic will be from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Schenley Drive and the Posvar Patio.

If you register by May 8, you’ll be entered for raffle drawings that will be announced throughout the picnic. Winners do not need to be present to win. You should have received an email from the Office of Special Events with a link to register.

For those traveling into Oakland for the picnic, Pitt will validate parking in the Soldiers and Sailors Parking Garage between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Before returning to your car, show your Pitt ID to the attendant and share that you were at the picnic.
