Pitt Athletics, in partnership with the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, will host a three-day celebration at downtown’s new Arts Landing to coincide with the NFL Draft in Pittsburgh, April 23 to 25

The Pitt Block Party at Arts Landing will be the first major event at Arts Landing — the four-acre performance and civic space along 8th Street between Penn Avenue and Fort Duquesne Boulevard. Cultural District officials said earlier this month that the space is on track to have a “soft opening” during the draft, with the grand opening during the Three Rivers Arts Festival in June.

The Pitt Athletics event will include:

• An experiential Pitt Football museum and interactive draft showcase highlighting Panther greats and the program's NFL pipeline

• Live music and entertainment

• Food trucks, beverages, and local vendors

• Activity zone and more

"We're excited to partner with the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust to create a one-of-a-kind experience for our fans during the 2026 NFL Draft,” Pitt Athletics Director Allen Greene said in a news release. “Hosting the NFL Draft is a tremendous moment for the city of Pittsburgh, and the Pitt Block Party at Arts Landing gives our community a dynamic, family-friendly alternative option to be part of the action away from the North Shore."

Additional details for the free three-day event will be announced in March, including daily schedules and special appearances.

The main stage for the NFL Draft will be at Acrisure Stadium from April 23 to 25, while the NFL Draft Experience, the league's interactive fan festival, will be located at Point State Park. The Roberto Clemente Bridge will be pedestrian-only, during the event, which is expected to draw 500,000 to 700,000 visitors.
