OLLI offering free lecture on 10 Art Deco skyscrapers

The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at Pitt will host a free online lecture, open to the general public, on 10 of America's best Jazz Age skyscrapers from 1:30 to 3 p.m. July 22.

This lecture is presented by Mark Houser, an author, professional speaker, and award-winning journalist who shares stories of the men and women behind America's great antique skyscrapers.

See these buildings from a bird's-eye view with drone photography, peek inside at their grand lobbies, and discover how each building came to be through the stories of the people who built them.

Houser’s new project, the Highrises Collection, features nearly 200 landmark buildings across America, combining Houser’s writing with drone scan compositions by digital artist Chris Hytha.

OLLI at Pitt offers adults aged 50 and better an array of noncredit courses, lectures, and events. For more information, visit www.olli.pitt.edu
