The Office of Sustainability is inviting everyone in the Pitt community to join in making a Climate Change Quilt from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 10 in the William Pitt Union’s Kimbo Conference Room, during “Cookies, Cocoa, & Climate Change Connections.”

This national effort uses art to create connections to help fight climate change and climate anxiety in communities.

Don't know how to quilt or sew? No problem, participants will design their own quilt squares cutting out shapes and pinning them.Then our team of sewers will put the squares together. The end result will be showcased in the Eco- Artisans Show on April 8. 

Participants can stay 15 minutes or for hours, its up to you and your artistic visions. Drop-ins are highly encouraged. Register for the event if you’re interested in cookies and cocoa so there’s enough for everyone.
