Sharon G. Flake, author of “The Skin I’m In” and its sister novel “The Life I’m In,” will be the featured speaker at this year’s Pitt-Greensburg Children's Literature Conference on April 13.

“The Life I’m In” is a 2021 finalist for the Kirkus Prize and has been named a top 10 book of the year by ALA and Kirkus.

“The Skin I’m In” has sold almost 2 million copies worldwide and has been translated into numerous languages, most recently Italian. The novel is required reading in classrooms and communities around the globe.
