Registration is open through July 23 for the upcoming MyHealth Less Stress for Life virtual group classes.
The classes begin with an orientation on Aug. 5 and continue over six more sessions on Tuesdays through Sept. 16. Each class is from noon to 1 p.m. They are designed to help you learn how to better deal with day-to-day hassles. There will be also be three follow-up sessions at 30, 90 and 180 days following the program’s conclusion.
Taught by a professional health coach who is an expert in helping people manage stress, the program will teach skills that will ease the physical, mental and emotional symptoms of stress.
The program includes a workbook and toolkit.

Pitt employees who are not UPMC Health Plan members and wish to participate in the classes should call 412-647-4949 and speak to a Health Coach, who will get the necessary information needed for the University to issue you a Wellness-Only ID to register for these classes.
The classes are Aug. 12, 19 and 26, and Sept. 2, 9 and 16. The follow-ups are Oct. 14, Dec. 16 and March 17
Class size is limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Registrants will receive further information by email.
