Pitt students whose parents work here can apply for Endowed Book Fund

Applications are now being accepted for the Staff Council Endowed Book Fund Award.

Established in 2001 with donations from staff members, the fund awards $500 scholarships to two Pitt students whose parents are staff members.

The money is for the purchase of books or supplies for qualified undergraduate students enrolled at any of the Pitt campuses. The students must be non-freshmen and be in good standing with at least a 2.0 grade point average.

The award will be presented at the Chancellor’s Staff Recognition Ceremony on Dec. 5.

Applications are due before 5 p.m. Nov. 8. Apply online here.
