The upcoming Faculty Assembly meeting on Jan. 19 will be hosted online only because of the recent spike in COVID-19 cases.

In an effort to mitigate the spread of the virus, Pitt began the spring 2022 semester remotely on Jan. 10. The University plans to hold classes remotely until at least Jan 27.

The next Senate Council meeting will be held on Jan 27. Senate Council leaders have not decided whether to hold the meeting online or as a hybrid in-person and virtual, since it will depend on the status of the pandemic at that time.
