Applicants sought for 19th annual Manners Awards

The University Center for Social and Urban Research (UCSUR) is seeking applicants for the 19th annual Steven D. Manners Faculty Development Awards.

Two awards of up to $10,000 each will be presented to research in the social, behavioral and policy sciences at UCSUR. It is not a requirement that work be related to areas of particular interest to UCSUR or use data collected by UCSUR, but those applications will receive special consideration during the judging process.

The Manners Awards grants are intended to support pilot research that has the potential to lead to larger externally funded projects of interest to local and national foundations or state and federal agencies.

One-page letters of intent describing the proposed project are due by March 1.
