Volunteers still needed for Pitt Arrival; look out for parking restrictions

There are still a few volunteer spots open for faculty and staff to help out with Pitt Arrival, as students return Aug. 20 to 26 to the Oakland campus.

Sign up to volunteer on the Pitt Arrival website for the key residence hall move-in days — Aug. 20 to 22 and Aug. 25 and 26.

For anyone coming to Oakland during those days, several parking restrictions will be in effect. The Pitt Arrival website has a map of the loading zone areas for each residence hall.

All students living in University housing will be required to test for COVID-19 and will be provided a test kit upon arrival. Additionally, all students — both on and off campus — are strongly encouraged to take a rapid antigen test within 48 hours before returning to the area. Free at-home COVID-19 test kits are available to order at COVID.gov. Those who test positive, should not travel.
