Volunteer for Christmas Day at Pitt or donate a child’s gift

Christmas Day at Pitt will be back for its 18th years on Dec. 25, providing holiday meals, gifts for children and winter accessories for adults from the neighborhoods surrounding the University.

Volunteers are needed to fill four 1.5 hour shifts, starting at 9:30 a.m., 11 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. Volunteer opportunities will include meal prep, meal serving, cleaning, gift distribution and general support. Volunteers must be 12 and older. Sign up here to volunteer.

Those who can’t help out on Christmas Day can donate an unwrapped gift that will be given to children that come to the 18th annual Christmas Day at Pitt.

Drop off unwrapped gifts to 710 Alumni Hall on weekdays through Dec. 15.
