Students will get 5 pre-paid labels to ship dorm items to campus

Instead of masses of carts and people during the annual Arrival Survival, Pitt will pay for five pre-paid shipping labels for students in on-campus housing to Ship2Pitt, Panther Central announced today.

Deliveries through UPS Ground shipping service will be routed through a warehouse for a security scan before they are sent directly to each residence hall room.

Boxes should no bigger than 20x20x20 inches and not weigh more than 50 pounds per box. Students must supply their own shipping materials.

Students will only be able to create shipping labels from July 10 to 31.  Parcels shipped after July 31 will be delivered to residence hall mail facilities and will require pick-up.
