Proposals sought for 2024 Mentoring and Advising Summit

The Student Success program in the Office of the Provost is seeking proposal for the seventh annual Mentoring and Advising Summit, planned for March 8, 2024.

During this virtual summit, participants will engage with and learn about specific tools, techniques, theories, and concepts to support undergraduate students, graduate students, and postdocs as they chart goals, develop enduring networks, and sustain their pursuit of success after graduation.

The summit is open to any faculty member, staff member, administrator, graduate student, postdoc, or researcher who advises, mentors, or coaches undergraduate students, graduate students or postdocs.

Proposals are being sought to lead a workshop, a live one-hour webinar-style session, or a lightning talk, a five-minute pre-recorded video focused on an emerging theory or an innovative strategy, tool, or approach implemented by a unit, department, or program that might be adapted by other units on campus. Download the complete 2024 Mentoring and Advising Summit RFP

The deadline to submit a proposal is Dec. 15. Summit registration will begin in January.
