The Petersen Events Center’s Campus View Club is now the GBU Life Campus View Club, as part of a  a multi-year partnership between Pitt Athletics and the Pittsburgh-based company.

GBU Life is a member-owned, not-for-profit provider of life insurance and annuity products.

In addition to securing the naming rights of the Campus View Club, GBU Life has become an official fraternal life insurance partner of Pitt Athletics.

The partnership with GBU Life kicked off this fall with a community-driven campaign providing essential school supplies and backpacks to local students through student-athlete community service events. GBU Life is also supporting the American Cancer Society by donating $100 for each defensive stop by the Pitt football team on third and fourth down.

The Campus View Club, situated in the lower lobby area, was redesigned in 2022 to include a viewing deck of the basketball court.
