Center for Creativity plans another PARK(ing) Day preview

Pitt’s Center for Creativity will host an in-depth discussion about the upcoming PARK(ing) Day on campus.

The center previously held sessions to introduce faculty and staff to the PARK(ing) Day concept. The event, scheduled to take place on Sept. 23, encourages people nationwide to temporarily redesign metered parking spaces into parks, gardens, art projects and other creative spaces.

This is the third year Pitt has participated, and more than 20 Pitt schools and departments have participated the past two years.

This new session will be from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. June 26 and will offer participants a chance to further engage in theories and creative ideas for their spaces.

It will be in the Center for Creativity, located in the basement of the University Store on Fifth Avenue. Food and drink will be provided. Participants can register here.
