Webinars will give details on Care.com benefit

Officials from Care.com will lead two webinars next week to discuss services available to Pitt employees through the site, including how to utilize backup care, and more.

You can register for the webinars by clicking on the dates below or a recording will be available of the Human Resources website at a later date.

Care.com provides a variety of options to assist with after-school care, caring for a child who is home sick, caring for children while you are working from home, caring for aging parents and more. The benefit launched for eligible employees on Sept. 1.

Eligibility is limited to: full-time regular faculty, librarians, and research associates; full-time postdoctoral associates; full-time postdoctoral scholars; and full-time regular staff.

Employees who sign up receive unlimited access to Care.com’s network of local caregivers, a total of 10 backup care days for child and adult care per program year (Sept. 1 to Aug. 31) for work-related purposes, and an opportunity for tuition discounts on tutoring and child care centers.
