United Way goal at 90 percent; two weeks left to pledge

The end of the United Way campaign is fast approaching on April 29 and as of April 14, the Pittsburgh campus had reach 90 percent of the goal of $750,000 or $675,206

Faculty, staff and retirees can give through April 29, 2022 by going to my.pitt.edu and searching United Way or sending in a pledge form. Johnstown and Greensburg faculty and staff also can give to their campaigns by going to my.pitt.edu. Bradford and Titusville are not set up to accept donations through my.pitt.edu.

Last year the campaign raised $697,585 (93 percent) toward the $750,000 goal for the Pittsburgh campus, according to Kelly Gilliam, manager of the Pitt United Way Campaign.

The next University prize drawing will be April 20. Faculty and staff who contribute to the Pitt United Way campaign are automatically entered into the raffle.
