Pitt’s annual United Way campaign concluded on April 30 and pledges from members of the University community totaled $694,560 toward the goal of $750,000.

The campaign started on Oct. 1, 2020, and featured several events including a trivia bowl competition.

The 2019-20 United Way campaign collected pledges of more than $718,000, the highest amount ever raised by the campaign. Donations can be made at any time through Pitt’s United Way website.

Organizers are working with United Way to have a rollover option for the next campaign, which will start this fall. This will allow those who are currently set up for payroll deduction to automatically renew each year. You will only need to log into to the site to make any changes to your existing contribution. More information will be coming in the next few months.
