School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences takes home awards
It’s been a good year so far for the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences and its staff.
- For the second year, a faculty member has won the Pennsylvania Society of Physician Assistants Educator of the Year Award. Assistant Professor Emily Murphy took home the award this years interim Program Director David Beck received it last year.
- The Master of Science in Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling program won the 2018 Pennsylvania Counseling Association Outstanding Counseling Program Award.
- Several faculty members in Occupational Therapy received awards from the Pennsylvania Occupational Therapy Association:
Research Award — Roxanna Bendixen, assistant professor
Academic Educator Award — Amit Sethi, assistant professor
Fieldwork Educator Award — Susan Lobur
OT Award of Recognition — Megan Driscoll, alum
Master Clinician Award — Kim Kubistek, adjunct instructor
Four students also received scholarships: Kim Holliday, Marybeth Hoscirella, Laura Otchy and Madeleine Wirth.
