Proposals due March 11 for open education resources funding

Proposals are due March 11 for the next round of open education resources project funding. For information on funding range, eligibility and more, view the OER funding application

Open education resources are defined as high-quality curricular materials — textbooks, lab notebooks, videos — that are free to students at Pitt and other institutions and allow legal permission for open use and adaptation.

The funding from the Office of the Provost is for faculty to adapt, adopt and/or create OER for an existing course. OER supporting inclusive learning by incorporating diverse perspectives are especially encouraged to apply. Diverse content can be added through readings, examples, images and case studies.
