Pitt Communities trying to bring people together, even while apart

On March 18, join leaders of various Pitt Communities, which bring together faculty and staff of different affinity groups, as they discuss “Fostering Connections, Even While Apart.”

The virtual roundtable from noon to 1 p.m. will look at new ways to connect and engage with others through Pitt Communities, providing helpful resources to expand and deepen campus community relationships.

Roundtable participants include:

  • Chinese Affinity Group (CAG): Haihiu Zhang, Lihong Teng

  • Equipoise (African-American/Black Affinity Group): Steven Jones

  • Hispanic and Latino Professional Association (HLPA): Belkys Torres, Tom Davis

  • Pitt Disability Community: Chloe Shearer

  • Pitt Muslim Affinity Group: Ahmed Ghuman, Elaine Linn

  • Pitt Queer Professionals (PQP): Mike Campbell

  • PittWomen: Jessica Townsend, Tanya Ann Gonzales

  • Veterans Affinity Group: Josh Cannon

  • The event will be moderated by Antonio Glaze from the Office of Business and Auxiliary Services, and Ron Idoko from the Office for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion
