The annual Food Truck Fest on the William Pitt Union Plaza and University Club Drive will raise money this year for United Way.

The event, hosted by the University Club’s hospitality team, will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 12. Each food truck has made a commitment to donate 15 percent of its event sales proceeds toward the United Way campaign.

The five food trucks scheduled to be on site are: Pittsburgh Pierogi Truck, Totopo Mexican, Steel City Chimneys, Cool Beans and Smokeland BBQ.

The University Club hopes to raise $2,000 during the event.
