Diversity in Curriculum Award applications due by Nov. 13

Applications for the Provost’s Diversity in the Curriculum Award are due by Nov. 13.

The award recognizes a faculty member’s efforts to integrate diversity and inclusion concepts into courses and curricula. Up to five awardees may be chosen annually, with each receiving a $2,000 cash prize.

Any full-time or part-time Pitt faculty member who has participated in diversity initiatives at the University may apply for this award. Faculty must have taught the modified course or revised curricula and assessed the impact of those modifications within the last three years.

Previous winners are not eligible. Preference will be given to those who have recently engaged in diversity and inclusion activities offered by the University Center for Teaching and Learning
